Grand Roi, owned by the multi-share Million In Mind Partnership, topped the recent Goffs UK Summer Sale at Doncaster, realising the eye-watering amount of £400,000.
The unbeaten 4yo over hurdler had been purchased by Anthony Bromley for the 180-strong syndicate in the summer of 2019 for £75,000 from France and as per the terms of the annual partnership he had to go to auction before this coming winter season.
Grand Roi was purchased by trainer Gordon Elliott and leaves Nicky Henderson’s yard. The new Million In Mind Partnership is currently being launched for the upcoming 2020/2021 winter season and aims to have up to six horses in training with many of the best NH trainers in the UK including Nicky Henderson, Alan King and Paul Nicholls.
